WHY IT MATTERS? This story matters because of the immense stress faced by unproduced screenwriters today. Showing the success of this character could bring more joy and less medication to the numerous mental health institutions in this country where most unproduced screenwriters reside today.

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? The success of this story will depend upon Nielsen screen testing and their sympathy towards the unwanted and starving unproduced screenwriters of America.

WHY IT MATTERS? My vision matters because it ensures The Disguised Billionaire delivers a gripping, high-stakes narrative filled with betrayal, power struggles, and redemption. By carefully structuring the plot, character arcs, and twists, the story remains compelling, immersive, and emotionally impactful. This vision keeps the drama intense, the stakes high, and the audience fully engaged from start to finish.

The Disguised Billionaire will succeed in the market because it masterfully blends high-stakes family drama, deception, and revenge with a compelling billionaire mystery, keeping audiences hooked with unpredictable twists and emotionally charged character arcs—exactly what modern viewers crave.

HAIRPIE - TONY SPEED

PRICE: $100,000

LOGLINE: When both HAIRPIE and their sworn local music enemies ROCK MOPS try to win the “mystery-million” prize by entering the first ever “Rock- Gun Rock-Fun” band contest in Germany, ROCK MOPS must find a way to turn HAIRPIE into what they hate most... human-jukeboxes.

WHY IT MATTERS? HAIRPIE is a live-action rock n’ roll comedy movie that CAN be enjoyed by people who are or aren’t fans of rock music. It takes place in Florida in the fictional town of Purple Beach. The rivalry of the 2 bands HAIRPIE and ROCK MOPS is along the lines of Batman and the Joker. There is quite a bank of laughs throughout the movie, with chaotic chemistry throughout the characters. With a soulsucking surprise in the middle of Act II, and a destiny of derailment towards the end of Act III, there is much astronomic anticipation.

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? HAIRPIE is eratically enticing, fastidiously funny, and showcases the commonly missed meaning of competition, which is why I know this movie has a purpose to succeed in the market.

THE BLACKSMITH - JAIME HICKEY

WHY IT MATTERS? This is an underdog story that shows that bravery and courage can surmount anything. It's a story that takes the ordinary man, puts him in extraordinary situations and brings about immense change to a nation. It's also based on fact, heavily researched and true to the real events depicted in the story.

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? It is an underdog story that encapsulates drama and action. Bravery and courage in extra ordinary situations that brings about change. Anything it possible and when united, even the largest of battles can be won. I think it will resonate with a worldwide audience for this very reason.

haven - james austin mccormick

PRICE: negotiable

LOGLINE: A jaded city couple eager for a fresh start in the country discover their young landlord harbors a deadly secret. Cut off from the outside world, they must find a way to outsmart him or become the latest victims of his twisted attempt to create the perfect family.

WHY IT MATTERS? Haven blends psychological horror and emotional depth. The layered backstory of Luke, shaped by childhood abuse and religious fanaticism, creates a complex, terrifying antagonist. The rural, isolated setting heightens the script’s suspense whilst emphasizing the characters’ vulnerability.
The narrative explores such themes of trauma, redemption, and the psychological effects of violence. Unlike traditional horror stories that rely solely on jump scares, HAVEN builds tension through its character-driven plot and unsettling atmosphere. The couple’s dynamic, particularly Leanne’s resilience and strategic manipulation of Luke’s emotional weaknesses, adds emotional weight and clever psychological maneuvering.
Finally, the visceral imagery, such as the mutilated dog and the basement horrors, leaves a lasting impression. The twist ending, implying Luke’s near-supernatural resilience, adds a lingering sense of dread, making HAVEN a memorable and distinctive addition to the genre of psychological horror

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? Haven has strong market potential thanks to its blend of psychological horror, emotional depth, and timely themes. Like successful elevated horror films (Hereditary, The Babadook, Get Out), it combines tension and trauma in a way that resonates beyond scares. Luke, the antagonist, is not a typical villain but a deeply scarred, sympathetic figure—offering complexity that appeals to both audiences and actors.

del mar strip mall - joseph caruso

During his exile, he encounters great hardship and loses his girlfriend and almost his life. In the end, he has to make a decision that will change the entire course of his life.

WHY IT MATTERS? The story has funny and dramatic moments as a young man faces major challenges in his young life.

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? The story is compelling with both dramatic and funny scenes throughout this story as a young man learns the skills of a defense attorney within one of the most dangerous cities in the United States.

LOGLINE: To stay "real" in the real world after their last creator dies, an action figure, fashion doll, superhero, anime girl, and crash dummy—now real flesh and blood—must find new believers in 10 days or be forgotten forever, and find help from two kids and their dad at a comic-con.

WHY IT MATTERS? This story speaks to the unrealized retro and vintage pop culture types we all grew up with and recreate in our imaginations.

WHY IT WILL SUCCEED? Evaluation: THE GEPETTO PROTOCOL "has an interesting concept with definite potential. The script has a lot of fun with its eclectic cast of characters and the way they interact... It’s easy to see how these five, from such different backgrounds if not universes, can become friends, with a natural bonding forming... The script’s biggest hook is in its premise, which could grab some attention in the vein of "Toy Story" or "Wreck it Ralph".")

Possible franchise/expansion for the characters: Max’s war stories; Bobbie’s fashion plates/dressup site; Widow’s web comics; Suzuka and Professor’s adventures/time-traveling stories/comics or manga searching for Brother; Crash/Gear’s TV or web series with the Pony Run Girls.

That’s my advice with dealing with writer’s block. Follow the fun. If you aren’t having fun, you are doing it wrong.”
